We were a brand new business and we needed marketing so after talking to many companies we decided to go with Local Edge. I called/emailed multiple times saying we aren’t getting any leads. They would go on my portal and look and say you are right. Then they would say well up your package and that will bring in more visits to your website. So I did and guess what nothing changed!!! I called them monthly asking them to get me more movement. They would look at portal and say the same thing every month yes you right. What exactly was I paying for?? I called the company every time not once after months did they look on the portal themselves and call me and ask what they could do different. Don’t waste your money with this company!

They deleted our Call Tracking Numbers and took down our Website for no reason and without notification. They cost us thousands of dollars! This company was hosting our website and providing call tracking numbers. We requested our website files so we could change hosting servers. They charged us $700 for files (files that we owned by the way). That's extremely expensive. Most companies do not charge you to get your files off their server. One afternoon about 2 weeks after the request they took down our site and emailed a link to downloand files. No notice was provided. They just took our website down and sent an email link. The email said nothing about the site being taken down. We find out the site is down from customers. We requested they put the site back up and it took them about a day and a half to get it back up. You can't ever get them on the phone. Your customer service rep never answers the phone. It takes forever to get issues addressed. Fast forward 2 weeks, we aren't using the web hosting at this point but need our call tracking numbers, so we are still paying Local Edge for the service. We find out our call tracking numbers are suddenly not working. Keep in mind, these are the numbers used in all our advertising; Craigslist, website, print ads, brochures, etc. We were paying for 7 numbers total. Not only did they randomly turn the numbers off, they couldn't turn them back on. They were lost. We will never receive the calls for the print ads using the call tracking numbers this company was providing. After we called to try to resolve, they said that they turned the numbers off because we "canceled our service". We never canceled our service. No one from Local Edge ever said, "oh by the way, your call tracking numbers will be turned off", or "we assume that since you want you files you are going to cancel your service". Nothing was said. They just stopped our service and cost us thousands of dollars in lost revenue because our website was down and our call tracking numbers were deleted. This 2 debacles could have been mitigated with a little communication. They think so little of your needs that they turn websites and call tracking numbers off without notification. No warning. They have no procedures in place to protect you in this situations. I have been extremely dissatisfied with the services provided. We have used their AdWords, SEO and web development services in the past. I suggest you figure out how to do these services yourself. That's what we did. We had such a poor experience with this digital media company and it's website, SEO, AdWords, and call tracking services, that we moved the management of all these services inside our company.
